Cedarville to Host STC One-Day Conference

The Cedarville University student chapter of STC is hosting a one-day conference for professionals, students, and academics on November 8 where you can interact with, learn from, and create connections with other professionals in your field. Entitled "A 2020 Vision for the Future," the conference will focus on the future of the technical communication profession. With STC President Mark Clifford as our keynote speaker, special guest speaker Dr. Carolyn Rude, chair of the English department and Professor at Virginia Tech, and various learning sessions, it is guaranteed to be an invaluable experience for your career.

We are looking for other speakers for our breakout sessions. We welcome proposals on all subjects, but we especially welcome those that focus on where the world of technical communication is heading. Please send your submissions via email to Sandi Harner or submit them on our proposal website any time AFTER AUGUST 1, 2008. Word documents or PDFs are preferred. The deadline for all proposals is September 15, 2008.
