I went to the Indy Jazz Fest this summer to check out Kenny Garrett. Besides discovering that Kenny is ten times more amazing live than on CD, I also found that he's a pretty nice guy too. He took time to talk to everyone at the autograph session, not hurrying people in and out, which you certainly don't always see these days.
