Leadership

President-- Michael Shirzadian

Michael Shirzadian is a junior English major from New Albany, Ohio. He’s Byronic. He spends his free time reading, writing, resting weary limbs at last on beds of asphodel, philosophizing, and dreaming of that most glorious day when he’ll graduate from Cedarville and head to graduate school, holding in either hand the crook and flail, the power and the glory. He may be crazy, but it just may be a lunatic you’re looking for,”

He spoke. and drank rapidly a glass of water.

Vice President-- Jessica Robb

Jessica Robb is a sophomore psychology major from good ol' Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. She thanks Dr. Mills for teaching her about original sin, gingerbread man-style. She enjoys granny smith apples, Lebanese food, and dreaming about communism. She aspires to have the agility and skill of Dr. Clausen in hermeneutical gymnastics.

Treasurer/Secretary-- Ashley Moulis

Ashley Moulis is a business/political science major from Kansas City, Missouri. She enjoys scuba diving, water skiing, Latin dancing, and singing in her car. Her ideal afternoon would be spent watching Pride and Prejudice while drinking hot chocolate and having her feet massaged.

Director of Activities-- Naomi Washatka

Naomi Washatka is a Sophomore International business major. She likes to make lists, sing in the shower, watch foreign films, and play in the many local Cedarville parks. Her over-committing nature leaves her no spare time; but in the wee hours of the morning, she enjoys reading Dickinson while listening to The Beatles. She will be planning all the ultra cool TDK events, so talk to her if you crave an outing to a favorite spot.

Director of Coffee Talks/Freshman Integration-- Katy Hawkins

Katy Hawkins is a sophomore from Columbia, Missouri. She loves biology and philosophy, but sometimes she loves philosophy and biology. She also loves scones, window seats, thunderstorms, early mornings, and the smell and feel of old books. When she was a freshman in MoMM, she liked to pretend that Cedarville was a British boarding school, but now she is quite grown up and prudent. Speaking of that, it would be especially prudent of everyone to attend the intellectually stimulating TDK "coffee talks" at Beans and Cream.

Director of Service Projects-- Steve Palmer

Steve Palmer is a junior majoring in International Studies and minoring in several other subjects yet to be fully decided. He happily works in the Writing Center as an excuse to drink its free coffee. When not working, studying, or out-and-about, Steve relaxes in his always-super-cool dorm room and eats (sometimes legitimately acquired) oranges.

Intercollegiate Activities-- Brandon Smith

Brandon Smith is a junior Comm Arts major concentrating in journalism. He's never lived in Cedarville's dorms because he came to CU already married to a lovely lady named Krista. He sometimes brings her unexpectedly to TDK events, and doesn't feel bad that he only paid one membership fee. Also his hero and mentor is Dwight Schrute.

Retreat Organizer (& Coffee Talk co-coordinator)-- Alicia McCullough

Ali McCullough is a third-year TDK vet from the great state of Maryland who is looking forward to serving the org this year. As a Bio/Spanish double, she is pursuing both a love of language and an incurable infatuation with all things cellular. Her list of favorites include coffee, people, running and chocolate (though not in that particular order :) ). She has also been known to randomly burst out in song, so be warned.

Webmaster-- Gerhard Mullican

Gerhard Mullican is a junior graphic design major, but he can’t draw. He likes photography, theme parks and roller coasters, reading, all kinds of design, rock climbing, cheese, and legos. He also likes soccer, white water rafting, paintball, numismatics, discus, peanut butter, relaxing in nature, Weird Al, Australia, NASCAR, and playing the harmonica, but there's not enough time for any of that.

Fundraising Coordinator -- Jonathan Demers

Jonathan is History and Political Science major with no intentions of entering the muck and mire of politics. He does not enjoy homework nearly as much as his schedule exhibits, but does appreciate reading, writing, discussing, and other educational activities that make him feel smarter than he is. Jonathan loves reminiscing of former glorious athletic days, over committing beyond reason, and his wonderful family. He has a passion for ministry matched only by his desire to seek Truth. Jonathan hopes one day his walk with the Lord emulates the journey of a "good and faithful servant."

First-Year Representative -- Jessica Burkhardt

Jess Burkhardt is a freshman English major from Allentown, Pennsylvania. Though her Cedarville lifestyle doesn’t often permit extraneous fun, Jess enjoys reading Food and Wine Magazine (pretending she’s a world class traveler and chef) and burning banana chocolate chip pancakes during the early morning hours (like 11:00 am). She aspires to be a librarian who wears power heels to work every day and, thus, changes the stereotype of this underappreciated position. She loves extensive treadmill running, peppermint tea and the smell of love letters.
