Cedarville University

Intelligent Ground Vehicle Team

This year (2007) will be our fourth consecutive year to enter the IGVC competition. The competition requires teams to build a small autonomous vehicle that can navigate an outdoor course painted with white lines and avoid obstacles.

2006 Competition:

This year we improved again with a 283' run on the autonomous course. This year's vehicle featured a wireless LAN including a PDA for remote control and for receiving telemetry back from the vehicle. This year we also competed in the Navigation challenge for the first time with a GPS system donated by Garmin International. THANKS GARMIN! We will post our official results here once we get them.

Michigan Senator Carl Levin made a visit to this year's competition. Here he is conversing with students.
