Introduction to digital signal processing with emphasis on FIR and IIR filter design, application of z-transforms and Fourier transforms, spectral analysis, realization and frequency response of discrete-time system, and properties and design of FIR and IIR filters with infinite and finite word-length processors. Filter designs are implemented using Matlab. Design project required.
