  • I will soon have a link to this new course on Matthew's gospel. Until then, here's a brief description
    • This course will examine the theology and story-line of Matthew's gospel. After looking at some key issues related to historical and cultural background, we will join Matthew on his journey through Jesus' life and teaching. The primary approach utilized in this course is narrative criticism. That is, we will not seek to look at Matthew along with all the other gospels, trying to harmonize differences and re-construct a "life of Christ;" rather, we will look at Matthew on his own terms and appreciate the story of Jesus through the narrative constructed by Matthew.
