Connie Clark Anderson, originally from Spokane, WA, studied piano with Dr. Dean Kincaid, Margaret Sander Ott, Audley and Barbara Wasson and Dr. Jackson Leung. She recieved a Bacherlor's degree in piano performance from Cedarville University and a Master's degree in Music Education with emphasis in piano pedagogy from Wright State University. A long-time member of OMTA, Mrs. Anderson holds national certification from MTNA and the American College of Musicians. She has served on the National Certification Board of MTNA and her wide adjudication experience has included the National Federation of Music Clubs, Ribbon Festivals, Guild Auditions, Columbus, OH area Piano Festival and state and national Talents for Christ competitions. She has been the Nationally Certified Collegiate Piano Teacher of the year for the Western District of Ohio Music Teachers Assocation (OMTA) also. A frequent contributor to Keyboard Companion, Mrs. Anderson has presented numerous lectures and workshop to groups of piano teachers and has been active as a church pianist and accompanist for several clasical artists. As assistant profesor of music at Cedarvilel University, she directs the Keyboard Pedgagoy program and teaches numerous pedgagoy courses, group pinao classes and private students ranging from young children through adults.
